Hey! I read in one of the many blog i read that you can have a shampoo or conditioner mix in a bottle apply it to scalp and let the water run through it and it will then run through the ends and clean the dirt in our hair instead of taking away our oils! Or you can put some stockings over your head (cut off the legs ) then put shampoo over that then you can sorta rub it in without messing up ur braids and the rinse out Like the step without stockings! Hope that helps
