to dye or not to dye
Now, am i the only person who do not mind that my hair is greying? I have had the odd grey hair since I was a teenager and over the last couple years they have multiplied rapidly (mostly in the middle). My people keep asking me why I wont dye them and personally I do not have a problem with my grey hair, if anything I quite like them... I am 34, people associate graying with age however, i see it as a sign of wisdom (a Caribbean ole time ting...lol)...my mum is in her 50s and she dyes her hair and I hate how it looks when her hair is growing out, I don't want the hassle of that....I love my natural hair now and part of embracing my natural beauty (as I have always been told that a woman's hair is her beauty) is embracing my grey hair that comes with it. The thing that makes me laugh, the grey strands of my hair are thicker and stronger than the black strands and grows faster and are mostly longer...
I bluntly refuse to dye my hair to cover my greys...anyone else feel the same way?

I have gray's as well and have since I was in high school. They were only about 2 then and now, at 39, have multiplied to a few more in the front. I'm not sure how much and I also refuse to color them. A matter of fact, I fell in love with this beautiful silver color that an older beautician wore and with her styles, it looked gorgeous! I decided when I get close enough to a head-full of gray that I am going to color my hair silver. Now that would be so interesting. No, don't color your gray. Be genuinely and beautifully you.

i will come forward and be real. I have some gray hairs and i'm only 15. i have seen some but not alot. i thought it was pretty cool. My mom refuses to embrace her grays. it makes her feel old, but me....i play with my mines. i got color in my hair. i got auburn and different shades of rich browns in my hair. Instead of covering the little gray hairs i mix the color in just to be creative but my hair is braided so aint no telling what my real hair looks like lol
