So the Mission Moisture has gone well so far. I haven't been doing the GHE as much as I would like, but I did get a good co-wash and DC in last weekend. I did an Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) rinse just to get the pH of my scalp back right (I swear my scalp carries on like the old school Herbal Essence commercials when I do an ACV rinse). I washed my hair in about 8 twisted sections. I DC'd overnight and rinsed in the morning.

So... Regina has been BONE DRY the past few months. So dry that I had to cut about 3 inches off her (I will add pics later today). My mission right now is to maintain the new healthy ends of my hair, battle SSKs (Single Strand Knots) and generally find out what the heck Regina really wants and needs.

Shampoo Giovanni clarifying shampoo  2-3x monthly (or bentonite clay 1x monthly)

Buffer with a cheap VO5…

Alright, so this week is starting out just like last week. I did the majority of my regime last night. It went as follows:

-Pre poo with warm olive oil, almond oil, castor oil and a little honey.

-Bentonite Clay (applied mostly to my roots and scalp) I let it sit on for about 30 minutes…

So this week, I did the Miss Celie braids again (I am sooo lazy with this style!!).  This is honestly the easiest style I have ever done on my hair and likely the worst looking, but when I take those big braids down.... my hair is sooo soft and moisturized.

Hey everyone!!! I am soooo late to get this blog post up, but I did post my stats on Jan. 1 as well as doing my protective style for the week.

I have been fully natural for nearly a year, next week Jan. 9 will be Regina's birthday! I will post some pics of her from them and WOW now.
