It’s Tuesday and I am hating these ends, even more so then when I complained during the P.Y.E challenge! As I watch the clock wind…Continue

So today is the next to last day of the challenge and I decided to use my freebie and wear my hair out! I couldn’t wait! Earlier in the week I wore this style, ends well protected.…Continue

For the 4 Weeks, I've been on travel non-stop; I have been neglectful in posting my updates for the challenge. Though I have been a full participant, wearing only protective styles and taken pictures to show the style, I haven't been updating like I should have.
For weeks 10 and 11, I wore my hair in…Continue

It’s week 9 of the challenge and I’m still on travel so I’m still rocking my bun…I love it though! It’s full and big and easy; certainly not a style I have to sleep pretty to maintain. Tomorrow I plan to re-moisturize, seal and braid up my hair. I am really excited about the end of the challenge. Normally, I wear my…Continue

Week 7! We are half way through the challenge and I am very happy with the results thus far! Though I can’t say I’ve plotted my growth, I can happily say I am still retaining the hair I do have
For this week’s recap, check out the link :) Crown & Glory Hairstyle…Continue

It's Week 5 and I am feeling alive...lol!!!! Excuse my corny rhymes but there is a lot of truth in that statement. This week I am feeling happier and more positive about my natural hair in terms of protective styling. Because I am newly natural I have nver really dealt with protective styles outside of wigs and weaves and even then I wasn't doing it for protection, but out of convenience and sometimes laziness. The little girl and I DC, shampooed and did a leave in…Continue

Okay, Week 3 brings something new to see. I'm finally making some styling changes this week. Baby's braids are out and my wigs is off. So I thought. I decided to experiement a little. A few months back I RAN to target to purchase the Curls "Fierce, Fabulous & Finally Free Transitioning Kit!" And at that time I was still transitioning and not feeling fierce or fab or free after using the products. However this was also the point in my transition when I begining to get frustrated with the…Continue

So uh...this is week 3 of the challenge, and I didn't wash, deep condition, and restyle my hair this Sunday :-| Shoot me! Guilty as charged!Continue
The hecticity (I know that is not a word- sue me) of the holiday season is now over I am back on schedule. No late post this week.
I guess I can start with Baby (and yes I know she is 6 years old but she is still MY baby-lol) Because I had her hair braided last week, her styling will has changed. I like to keep her hair braid for at least 2 weeks when it is cornrowed. However because she has dry skin (ezcema) her scalp does need cleaning as well as moisture needs to be adeed to the…Continue

Though I loved the style I wore at earlier this week, it was difficult to maintain without restyling in the morning.

Happy New Year!
I think I'd better have up the rules for my sake BECAUSE I will forget them, espeically since I'm a sorta wash and go girl. And worse considering that I'm a twist outs chick, so this will require discipline AND REMINDERS, lol. So, for my sake (and maybe yours), *drumroll* THE RULES!!! (direct from the official thread)
