She was very thorough and well educated on all kinds of curly hair. She is white but she styles all textures. She spent a lot of time talking about my hair's specific needs (referencing the actual physical properties of my hair). She is called the Curl Whisperer. I don't think she does other styles like twist-outs and stuff, I think she is all about the natural curl. But she did just hire a young black lady who she said will be doing more diverse stuff.

I live in Tampa and am wondering if there are any salons around that specialize in natural styles.
