How do you keep your edges neat?

Protecting My Hair When I Go To Bed

What I do before I go to bed is put my hair in two braids. That makes my hair wavy when I take it out in the morning.

I have been loose braiding my hair and alternating between wearing a half wig and full wig and am just 14 wks post relaxer. I need extensions in order for them to last longer as my hair has suffered damage is not that long and my ends are straight. I had it trimmed and have been advised to use wigs instead for now to avoid the stress of braids. Any other suggestions out there? I need help! I've been having a time trying to figure out what to do for my hair while I'm waiting. I'm very glad to hazve found this natual community.

Unfortunately, I'm not really good at styling my hair. I actually went to Alicia Tucker(Afrosnbabyhair), the hair professional I met at the BGLH events in May and June. She was great! I would like the style to last for two weeks. I plan on spraying it with the Shea Moisture Styler and Carols Daughter Vanilla Tui leave in conditioner. *Crossing my fingers*

@Valeaka.... It looks amazing!! Did you do it yourself? It might not last, but even if you have to take it down after a few days and re-do, that's fine!

I'm so glad I found this forum! I'd already decided to do this for myself and was in week 6 of protective styling between braids and twists. I'm super excited for any advice and support :)
