Hello, all. My name is Tamai, and my father comes from Lagos, Nigeria. I've been natural for about two and a half years, and I love it! What's funny to me is that people tend to think black American women can't grow long hair, and they tend to think it's even less possible for African women. I don't know where they get that; I'm mixed with both and I've always had long, thick hair! I hope to gain a lot from this group, and look forward to trading tips and knowledge with you all. :)

Hi everyone,

I am based in Berlin, Germany and have had locks for the past 2 years. I am struggling to find a loctician in here and maintaining the hair myself has not been easy. Frustrated!

Any tips on maintenance will be hugely appreciated because I really love my locks!
